I finished up my End of the Weak journey throughout Uganda. The Northern

competition was the best, though I disliked the venue and radio people

the most. The East was fun because I was able to swim in the Nile in my

downtime and I enjoyed the people I worked with. The West was the best

environmentally as it reminded me very much of Cape Town, South Africa

with rolling hills and giant clouds. The people I worked with there

The highlight of this week was being on national television speaking about End of the Weak. I didn’t see it, but I know it is a great way to start the New Year.

The other highlight was doing a photo shoot with CYNO, the MC Challenge winner. He took me through the ghetto of Katwe, otherwise known as “the city of technology” or “the dustbin of Japan” as Burney MC calls it despite the punches he receives from CYNO when he says it. Ha. The MC Challenge 29 December was an absolute success! I met DJ Apeman at 3 at Feathers to ensure the sound was on point. The manager of Feathers, Michael, helped me gather supplies and create a stage with candles and lanterns.....the guy who was going to bring lights never showed up so we had to be constructive with our resources.
