True Knowledge is a 22-year-old artist from the Bronx NY, New York, USA

Standing on the opposite side of the band wagon arrives a positive as well as intelegent artist whose music is reaching to many ears around the globe now. Born as, Jack Jacob A. Cummings is now True Knowledge. The self proclaimed resurrection of hip hop was born September 17, 1989 in Lincoln Hospital located in the Bronx New York. Growing up in the rough streets in his neighborhood was a struggle for gangs and drugs flooded all throughout his community.
The goal and prime objective of the 22-year-old rapper is to achieve greatness in the music industry and escape the harsh reality that is witnessed daily. True Knowledge's message of entertainment is clean music without profanity, therefore anyone in any age group would be able to enjoy his inspiring words that up lifts emotions as well as spirits. Much of his work is showing proof that he is not an average rapper, not speaking on the subjects that people would usually expect a rapper from New York would speak about in Hip Hop.
What True Knowledg3 does is bring back the era of the 80's to the early 90's in a 21st century which is taking a big risk, stepping out of the norm. His style is different because he brings a funky perspective to the game and passion to all of his stage performances. He has made songs for the general pop culture to dance to, songs filled with detailed stories, and many tracks about that raw hip hop that many people desire to hear again. Young people can easily be hooked so True Knowledge (songs such as "Got My Own Swag" and "Can She Pop It". A serious record entitled "Love Was So Special" is a story about a young female describing drama within her life). "Not Your Average Rapper" which is the headline of the young mc's career blasting off strong to show that he is not like any other artist and rather unique with his message.
The mind of the youth is his strongest concern at this time of life especially. He says ("...today's rap music is no message for the children to listen to at all, because eventually they act out on what they hear and see.") He is very careful with the decision of terms he chooses inside of lyrics, for True Knowledge does not want to lead children into doing negatives things that today's music heavily influences children to do. In his mind children are the ones who will lead the future into the greatness the world is capable of. "Knowledge Is Power", a quote used by this Hip Hop artist many time symbolizing our population's uplifting spirits and how important an education is for our community is the future there is to come. Working hard in the studio making sure the message of positivity in Hip Hop culture is spread around to connect with many different people's situations in life for a better approach in life.
Inspirations of the young MC True Knowledge include (Nas, Eminem, Jadakiss, Common, Method Man, Canibus and Jay-Z.) He was 9 years old when he wrote his first rhyme ever after listening to "Nastradomas", "Life n Time pt 2" and "Marshall Mathers LP" together in one night. And then after developing more into rap culture digging deep into the foundation of music True Knowledge instantly adapted into his own creative arts. When he first began to rap it was just as negative as any other mc, but it wasn't long before harsh situations in his life caused him to change his whole image and go through a major transition in life.
