I am currently undertaking doctoral research in cypher and hope that if you like to freestyle then you will get in touch with me, send me links of your stuff and your recommendations and share your experiences. I am striving to put cypher on the academic map and hope to highlight the recognition it deserves as an artform. For me, cypher is a practice which is culturally rich in its roots and embeds the essence of hip hop which is focussed on authenticity and creativity. EOW has played a huge part in my research so far and I am hoping that the EOW Fam can spread a little bit of love my way with this one...

Just wondering if there are any particular lyrics that you've heard in a cypher or freestyle environment that have absolutely blown you away? Why? What was so special about them?
